Research suggests that fire alarms are not enough on their own
Imagine a situation where the fire alarm sounds, but nobody reacts. While logically we may think that a warning alarm would cause us to react, this is not always the case. Research studies (such as the one in the link below) have confirmed that people can ignore fire alarms, particularly when they are in group situations. The study claims that the results of the experiment:
