Hospitality industry specific features:
“We have reduced our salary spend by 11% year on year and discovered many operational benefits from our Elephant Smart Business software. Previously our salary budgeting was not live, we met and discussed what happened last week or month, but it was too late to fix. With Elephant, the figures are forward looking, include holidays and PRSI calculations, meaning we can plan and deliver to budget.
We had a problem with Heads of Departments’ adding hours to schedules, without being able to justify the reason. We now have real discipline around our scheduling, and have adjusted hours to avoid incurring unnecessary breaks. SMS messaging has improved our break compliance and virtually eliminated lateness. Retail industry specific features:
‘We always had a clocking system, but all it did was record hours. The Elephant Smart Business software system is different, it’s like having a Manager on the floor all time. We have reduced our salary bill by 19% and are much more focused on scheduling. The calculation of holiday hours and public holidays has saved us a lot of time and money.
